Margo’s Story
It was the year 2000, when Margo’s dream to bring together a label and a concept that was simple, easy to wear, practical, timeless and dateless started to come to fruition.
It took Margo a year to assemble her collection to suit the individual body shape, with no zippers, no buttons and no ironing. Whether as a woman you are slender, fuller-figured, short or tall, Margo realised the answer to your prayers.
From solid Dutch heritage, Margo’s parents always encouraged her to complete her education. However at 14 years of age Margo’s ambitions were so strong that she left school to set about realizing her dreams.
Margo soon became a very successful model, winning the title of “Australia’s Top Model and Mannequin Awards” two years in a row – never having been defeated in Australian history.
She owned her own very successful modelling academy for many years with over two thousand models on her books. From here she produced a show called “Fashion with Flair”.
The Fashion with Flair production toured throughout Queensland and New South Wales and not only helped to raise much-needed funds for a variety of charitable organisations but was a show that helped the careers of many well-known leading designers throughout Australia and encouraged young budding designers from TAFE Colleges to pursue their dreams.
As a true Icon of the Queensland Gold Coast, Margo’s “Personality Plus” and sheer determination have helped her create so much in her life – from some of the most spectacular shows and prestigious events to eventually achieving her life -long dream of launching her own amazing fashion collection called
